Choosing the Deluxe Edition of Entroia was a no-brainer for me because of the included future DLC!
After playing the demo not once but twice, I knew I’d want to get into every bit of content the full game offers. The other extras are cool but they didn’t seal the deal for me.
While I thought the demo’s gameplay, world, and mechanics had room for improvement, it still excited me as a soulslike fan. Plus, hanging out on the official Discord and seeing how the devs responded to feedback and criticism made me feel pretty confident in their direction.
What’s Inside the Deluxe Edition?
Games these days aren’t cheap, so let’s break down what you’re getting with the Deluxe Edition:
Deluxe Edition Extras | Description | Personal Take |
---|---|---|
Original Soundtrack Extract | Includes selected tracks from the game’s music. | The music is great, but it’s not something I’d usually pay extra for. |
Digital Artbook Extract | Features concept art and behind-the-scenes content. | Good for those into game art, but a pass for me. |
Exclusive Weapon Skins Set | Unique, cosmetic weapon skins to personalize your character’s appearance. | Adds flair to your character, even though it’s purely cosmetic. |
Upgrade Materials for Weapons, Masks, and Lines | Provides materials to upgrade your equipment, offering a head start in the game. | Makes the early stages smoother but isn’t game-breaking. |
Extra Consumables | Includes items like Miracle Pesto, Hymn of Vigor, and Armonia Sap. | Handy for boosting your gameplay experience, especially in the beginning. |
Free Access to Upcoming DLC | Grants access to future downloadable content at no extra cost. | The biggest perk! Essential if you plan to fully immerse yourself in the game. |
Here’s a closer look at those consumables:
- Miracle Pesto: This item cures all status effects, which can be a real lifesaver when you’re in the thick of battle and can’t afford any debuffs slowing you down.
- Hymn of Vigor: If stamina is your lifeline (and let’s be honest, in a souls-like game, it usually is), this consumable massively increases your stamina regeneration for a few seconds, letting you dodge, block, and strike with renewed energy.
- Armonia Sap: Armonia Sap lets you regain health by attacking enemies only for a few seconds, turning every hit into a chance to recover.
Is the Deluxe Edition Worth It?
I think so, but if you’re still on the fence, remember that the standard edition of Enotria still offers the full-core game. You can always upgrade later if you decide you want more.
